Project Details/Background:

The Parwan Precinct is receiving a major civil upgrade involving a 13km new recycled water main to service the growing farming industry in Bacchus Marsh.

Global Pipe have supplied Pn16 HOBAS jacking pipe to the project site for Pezzimenti Trenchless to bore two separate drives of 140m & 90m.  The trenchless section was included in the project to avoid harming native gumtrees and to limit loud construction noise to the local primary school.

Arpol mechanical couplings were used to tie the jacking pipe into the connecting maintenance hole structures.

The pipeline also required sections of DN600 & DN675 PN16 Flowtite open trench pipe installed by Armstrong Construction.

Manufacturing & Qualification:

HOBAS & Flowtite Pipe Systems are certified to international standards from ISO, TUV, EN, and ISO9001. To meet these standards, stringent manufacturing inspection and testing is carried out, including raw material qualification, stiffness testing and dimensional verification.

Project Management and Supervision:

Global Pipe’s team of engineers provided dedicated technical support throughout the project lifecycle – ensuring engineering challenges were dealt with immediately to minimise risk and maximise peace-of-mind for all stakeholders.

Training and Support:
