Project Background
Located at Wollert in Melbourne Metro’s outer northern suburbs, the Findon Creek Branch sewer is being laid to service future housing and commercial developments.
Project Description/ Planning
The supply and installation of the Findon Creek branch sewer will connect multiple housing developments in one of Melbourne Metro’s largest growth corridors.
Project Challenges
Global Pipe are working diligently with Califam Constructions and Pezzimenti Trenchless to create an innovative system using HOBAS CC-GRP Jacking Pipe, boring underneath the existing Findon Creek and re-joining with Flowtite CFW-GRP. The Global Pipe team works together on solutions to overcome any challenge a project may present.
Engineering & Design
Our highly qualified in-house team of mechanical and civil engineers will provide comprehensive technical support, engineering and design services at all stages of the Findon Sewer project.
Manufacturing and Qualification
HOBAS & Flowtite Pipe Systems are certified to Australian and International standards from AS, ISO, TUV, EN, and ISO9001. To meet these standards, stringent manufacturing inspection and testing were carried out, including raw material qualification, stiffness testing and dimensional verification.
Supply and Logistics
Global Pipe provided a complete transport, freight logistics, warehousing and distribution solution to supply the HOBAS and Flowtite products.
Project Management and Supervision:
Global Pipe’s team of engineers will provide dedicated technical support throughout the project lifecycle – ensuring engineering challenges were dealt with immediately to minimise risk and maximise peace-of-mind for all stakeholders.
Training and Support:
Global Pipe provided Califam with comprehensive product support, product technical training information to installers and project supervisors. Global Pipe is also supported by the expansive engineering resources of our international manufacturers HOBAS.
