Global Pipe delivers clean sweep for new Perth Stadium

Global Pipe recently supplied over 120m of reinforced SPC concrete jacking pipe for a major water project to ensure a sustainable clean water supply for the new Perth Stadium and surrounding developments. Water Corporation WA contracted the construction of the 2.7km water pipeline from the Perth suburbs of Victoria Park to Burswood. The pipeline passes two critical pieces of state infrastructure, the Great Eastern Highway and the Armadale/Thornlie Rail Line. These are the main links into and out of the Perth CBD.

The project installation team were able to install under the live infrastructure. This ensured minimal disruption to the City of Perth and its nearby residents and businesses and had minimal impact on the major road and rail infrastructure. The two stages of the project were completed in February 2017.
